“Let’s Talk About It” is a welcoming resource in South Florida where young girls and their mothers can come together for real talk about puberty and reproductive health. We’re closing the education gap left by schools or at home with judgment-free workshops, trusted resources, and community support. Our goal is to help every young woman make informed choices that protect her health, build confidence, and open doors to her dreams. 🌱

Impact at a Glance✨

Together with caregivers, schools, and partners, we deliver judgment-free education on puberty and reproductive health so young women build confidence and make informed, healthy choices.

Why Let’s Talk About It! began 🌸

As a young girl, I was endlessly curious about women’s health. I read every book I could find and tried to make sense of the changes I was experiencing. Like many teens, my parents never had an official ‘birds and the bees’ talk. What my mom did teach me, though, was to advocate for myself—to go to the doctor, ask questions, and get what I needed when the time was right.

That early push toward self-advocacy shaped everything. I assumed all girls were getting the same guidance at home. But as an Ob/Gyn, I’ve learned that’s not always true. Today, parents are still unsure how to start these conversations—and our kids are hearing plenty from Instagram, TikTok, and misinformed friends. The issues they face are different, and what worked for us won’t always work for them.

So the narrative has to change. ‘Let’s Talk About It’ was born to create welcoming spaces where young women and their families can ask real questions, get honest answers, and leave with practical tools and confidence
